Seniors with Horses

A unique opportunity for seniors to visit, groom, feed, (maybe do a few chores?), and enjoy our rescue horses in a tranquil environment. Bring your own refreshments & snacks and enjoy conversation with our facilitator as you learn about our rescue herd. (Not a riding program)

You can sign up for: Mondays 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM through October 31, 2025. (Other days may be available for large groups upon special request.)

$25 donation per person, per visit. (tax deductable)

Adult Horsemanship, Level 101

Adults

12 Weeks

$720 for the 12-week session (only $30/hr)

This is level 1 of a 4-level, comprehensive horsemanship program covering everything from safe handling of horses up to and including horse trailering and first aid and everything in between. Level 1 will cover safely handling horses, groundwork, basic barn management, and much more—a great way to develop or further your horsemanship knowledge! Also, there will be some riding components and special guest speakers who are experts in their field. Level 1 is a required prerequisite to taking level 2. Each level will be a 12-week course.

Cancellations within 2 weeks before start date will be refunded 50% of the payment.
