Our specialized equine-assisted therapeutic programs for veterans sits in the heart of the Farmington Valley: Avon, Connecticut. helps former service members reconnect, rebuild confidence, and reduce stress through hands-on horsemanship experiences. Weekly sessions veterans and provide them with a unique path to personal growth, while also teaching them the inherently therapeutic benefits of various horsemanship skills. In the 12 or 6-week programs, veterans will participate in equine-assisted learning and activities based on a curriculum developed by professionals with over 10,000 hours in the arena.

Lessons include: learning about the animals, horse care, grooming, leading, connection, bonding, trust, and self-regulation. Participants will use the horse as a mirror to create positive personal identities and values.
